• Drawing faces is the true test to assess an artist understanding of proportions.
• If the proportions of the facial features (eyes, ears, hair, etc) are even slightly off, it can result in a completely different result compared to your model.
• Noticing the 3d form of the head/face can be difficult to see on a glance, but upon closer observation, the changes in planes become more obvious.
