Buildings

  • Before starting your drawing, you want to make sure you establish a solid ground plane. This will make sure your buildings will be planted with intent rather than guessing where they will stand on the empty page.
  • You also want a good understanding of perspective to make sure your lines are accurately portraying depth.
  • For the details, think about what part of the subject is most important to capture vs parts of the subject that aren’t as important. The details that are not as important doesn’t need to be perfectly captured.
