• These are my first iterations of character designs for a graphic novel I am blueprinting.
• Design in general tests an artist ability to draw inspiration from multiple references and combine it into an original concept.
• In order to design a character well, the artist must have a clear idea of the character’s roadmap, as the story dictates design.

Bentley: Protagonist

Sincerity is the notion of presenting an honest, authentic version of oneself to others. However, the moment you share your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with others, they are no longer yours. Is it possible to truly be sincere with others?

• In order to distract from such tedious questions, Bentley livestreams his food ventures with the hopes of trying cuisines from the various servers on Sycamore Drive.
• Presents with a distorted, immature sense of reality, with little regards to the consequences of his actions.
• As a result, Bentley cannot emotionally or spiritually comprehend the emotion of anger, giving off an unsettling demeanor to others.
• Ability: Bentley earns points from earning impressions from others. At max points, his luck stat shoots up to an undisclosed amount. A troublesome ability.
• Hobbies: Eating, eating, eating.

Jojo: Protagonist

• Is Bentley’s cameraman during livestreams.
• Compared to Bentley, Jojo lacks insight and boldness. With this in mind, he often serves as a voice of reason in their journey to taste every cuisine.
• Hobbies: Eating, sleeping, slacking off.

Articus

• Leader of the secret shadowy Dev Team organization.
• Ensures that all the monsters and bosses in each server are operational and balanced.
• Ability: Ruminate alternate realities and manifest items, creatures, and concepts into the real world.
• Hobbies: Praying.

Lucid

• Wants to full transparency between the dev team and the general public.
• Hobbies: Reading.

Uriel

• One of the many Guardian Angels.
• Hobbies: Helping others, teaching good morals, making conversation.

EnergyDrinkMascot

• Mascot of Breach energy. Not sure if this is safe to drink.
• Hobbies: Breach energy

Lyla

• A high ranking Shikari, a delinquent mercenary.
• Hobbies: Watching rank improve.

Casper

• Responsible for keeping the Dev Team a secret.
• Has a fictitious medical condition called hyperpolyuremia where glass like shards protrude from the body. Ouch!
• Hobbies: Lotion

Director

• The director of the Dev team.
• Hobbies: Monitoring state of servers, balancing, administration.

Giga

• A high ranking Shikari. Abstracted into a bunch of computer files due to obsession with rank.
• Ability: Has multiple abilities depending on the file.
• Hobbies: Organizing, cleaning.
